Gregg's Danner Shoe Review
I'm hesitant to order shoes or boots online because of the critical factor of getting the right size. I ordered a half size larger as suggested and they fit just fine. They required very little break in. They aren't too heavy or bulky. I wore them recently all day long while fishing on a small boat and they were very comfortable. The inside of the boots in the ankle area left brown stains on my white socks which don't wash out easily so be aware of that.

Work down under too!
I picked up a pair of these in the US recently and bought them back to Sydney Australia. I am very happy with them. I have a wide foot and there was just about no break in time - they were very comfortable the first time I put them on. They are not heavy - just right. The cushion effect of the sole is excellent - no complaints and worth the money.

I need to get some combat boots. I'll be doing a lot of running in them, so which kind is the best for that? Is there a difference between normal combat boots and jungle boots. Is one better for running than the other?

Question : What are the best boots for jumping my mare?
I am going to start jumping my 16 year old arab quarter horse mare. She seems to hit her legs on the jumps all the time. Which wouldbe the best type of boots for her, brush boots, splint boots or open fronts?
Answer:
Get your farrier to look at her. Farriers training is all about you horses feet. I've even seem good farriers shot an ailment before the vet did. If you have a farrier that has taken care of her feet at least twice call that farrier up and ask for suggestions since he/she know your horse's legs best.

Question : Why do I walk better in boots?
I have a balance problem. When I wear boots(cowgirl boots) I walk better and I can keep my balance on uneven terrain. Why is that?I don't walk in boots very often. I usually walk in tennishoes. I'm going to start wearing cowgirl boots from now on because I don't fall down or stumble anymore like I used to in tennishoes.
Answer:
It sounds to me like your ankles are a bit weak, and the boots are giving the support they need.I'm glad they help you!

Question : How can my groom wear boots for our wedding?
Since we are only having 10 people at our ceremony, I wanted my fiance to be comfortable. He hates wearing long sleeves and dress shoes. Since I am dressing up and wearing something nice I wanted him in a suit, not a tux, but something that compliments my dress. So anyway, what suit cut/suit ideas will look ok with timberland boots/dress boots? I'm looking for serious answers, I don't care about "traditional" dress.
Answer:
I think any suit would look fine with the boots, but it depends on the color of the boots. Don't have him were a black suit if the boots are brown.

Question : What is the difference between long boots and gaiters(english riding boots)?
I am looking for some riding boots and I was on a website and it has long boots/tall boots and gaiters what is the difference?
Answer:
Gaiters are basically exactly the same as half chaps except they are made of smooth leather rather than suede.Long boots are just as the name says, a pair of boots that reach upto just under your knee. For everday riding, jumping and cross country I use gaiters. I find they offer a lot more freedom in the ankle than long boots as the gaiter is detached from the boot. I only use my long boots for Showing, Dressage and Equitation. I also find that a good quality pair of gaiters can last just as well as a pair of long boots and sometimes longer. I've had my long boots for 5 years now and my latest pair of gaiters for 3 years. Both are in excellent condition although my gaiters are used every day, 5 hours a day. Another pro to gaiters, is that if you gain or lose muscle in your legs, it is cheaper to replace a pair of gaiters than a pair of long boots. It's also easier to fit them as you are only looking at leg measurements and don't have to limit your search to shoe size. (if that makes sense). It's also cheaper to replace short boots.
